Felix Aarts

Felix Aarts is a Dutch multidisciplinary artist living in New Jersey. After an international career as a ballet dancer he transitioned into the visual arts. He studied at Strykejernet Art School in Oslo, Norway and holds an MFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. He creates two and three dimensional work that deals with the issues of painting, space and movement. As a former dancer and visual artist he strives to combine the different ways of expressing the space that occupies his imagination, bringing a childlike playfulness to all his works.
